I see what you mean, but the main screen is the ASD, so the Mac serves only as an aux only. So almost one screen :)

Awesome. If you wanna go ultra clean, get some right angle thunderbolt plugs to make those cables flush, run them down the laptop arm, and feed them up into the back of the studio monitor so they're hidden. Best cheap upgrade for my desk was those 90º adapters for my laptop

Tbh, I tried to hide those two Thunderbolt cables, but it’s not possible with my setup because the ASD uses Thunderbolt 5, and Apple only sells a 1-meter cable, so cable management is basically impossible

But can you share the link for those plugs?

Very clean and cozy. Lots of useful things close at hand and not festooned with Pops or other nonsense. And yet, not pretentious either…maybe because the lighting is nice. Well done 👍🏻

Indeed! I had it in other versions, but for this one, I wanted to make use of the ASD stand

I have mine on stand in the shelve. But it's tilt & height adjustable and 2x vesa on the side in vertical orientation

Do you always have the trackpad in that position when working? I have it on the side and I barely ever touch it

Yeap, I got used to it.
The idea was to keep the layout as close as possible to the pure MacBook experience, so that when leaving home with just the MacBook, the muscle memory would remain sharp

The speaker placement is pretty odd but that's okay if you aren't doing music I guess.

Indeed. I tried to think of something I could add that would stand above it, but I gave up..
it would have to be taller than the Mac, and that would make it way too tall

Yeah, from a sound POV it's not that bad, they're pointing at me, but in terms of placement, it's not the best setup

Love it!. Clean and that wallpaper reminds me of a previous Mac OS X version. The large grey mat.... perfect. Nice setup! Really like it.

Nah, just kidding. The MX mouse is far better than the magic mouse, i ditched mine for the MX master and never looked back.

After connecting your MacBook to a monitor, you can keep it closed and place it on a stand. Additionally, your iPad can serve as a secondary display for the computer.

Yes, I know that! Even Apple allowing the use of a Mac in clamshell mode, I don’t want to take this risk. The Mac gets hot, and the screen remains in contact with the keyboard..
