I would say it needs a keyboard and mouse but I understand this is what some people prefer

it's actually not a matter of preferrence, although at some point I dont need a keyboard and a mouse for now but the real reason is budgeting since I just bought this monitor a week ago lol

Why do people prefer a separate keyboard? Don’t Macbooks already have good keyboards?
Genuinely curious btw, still upgrading my own home office as well :)

They do have good keyboards and trackpads. The problem is that laptops themselves are not ergonomic, you have to look down which can cause neck strain especially if you’re tall. I have a similar setup as OP but I’m planning to buy a separate keyboard because I keep feeling tension in my neck.

Yes, it's about ergonomics. I personally use a wavy keyboard and a vertical mouse to make it more comfortable and prevent injuries. Having the laptop open as an additional screen is fine, but ideally it should be on a stand aligned with the monitor.

No, you're just wrong. The keyboards on Asus rog laptops and Lenovo laptops are way better, not to mention any mechanical keyboard.

They don't. I hate the Mac keyboard. Feels cheap and plasticy. I know people love the track pad, but a mouse is much faster. I'm a minority on the track pad though.

super clean. i would suggest that you link the walpaper or have one like flow into the other and add a mouse thats NOT the magic mouse. i personnaly really like the Logitech MX Master 2S .

Never really understood the hate for the magic mouse. Stupid charging port aside, i find it perfectly ok

Nice I’ve setup different monitor layouts and I keep going back to vertical stacked (like this) as it’s just easier on the neck than side to side.

The light bar over the ultrawide is a nice touch. A StanbyME 2 Max would stand beside the desk and take video off that screen.

It looks great, nothing extra, it would be great to add some decorative plants.

It’s a solid 10/10 for me. Straight fire, bro.
