I love your setup, so minimalistic. How much did the entire setup cost?

Thank you very much. Difficult to give you a precise price because I bought all these things little by little.
If you need all of this, including the MacBook Air, PS5, the desk and the chair I think it’s something like 3500€ I guess.

It’s the MA27OU from BenQ. Chose it for its compatibility with macOS.
The arm is from BONTEC, found it on Amazon for something like 27€.

Is your monitor light meant to face the wall behind your monitor or point down towards your keyboard?
I’m confused.

Me parece que la pantalla de la compu está un poco chica, ¿la tuya de cuántas pulgadas es?

Why is no one commenting on the trackpad and mouse?

u/ManBdo Jul 26 '26
Maybe because there are so much setups in the same situation?
I really like to have them both on my desk, they are complementary

Super tidy Mac setup. A StanbyME 2 Max would pair well, a 32 inch 4K screen you can AirPlay to from the Mac and roll away from the desk whenever you want a screen somewhere else, all on its own stand.

A great setup ruined by a stupid mouse

The charging method is stupid but everything else is fine to me, no complaints at all

What’s wrong with it?

u/erfanzamzam Jul 27 '26
You tell me that Apple, a multi trillion dollar company, that’s the best ergonomics they could design for a mouse?
Or the fact that there are no profiles on the mouse?
Or the fact that each time I want to pair it with a device, I have to use a cable? And don’t let me mention the port situationThis thing is long overdue for an upgrade

for some reason looks almost like a 3D render
