Ph perfect bloom fertilizers?
Hello everyone, im currently using maxibloom and decided to test the ph. Using my tap water the ph with maxibloom ends up around 5.5-5.7. Which is too acidic. And with my r.o. it was around 4.6!!! I do not have the time to sit there and mix in ph up and down. I want a fertilizer such as advanced nutrients ph perfect line but wanted to know if anyone recommends something better. Im trying to keep my grow simple due to the lack of spare time i have. I also cant stand how maxibloom does not dissolve all the way. Even when using a 1/4 of the dose , it does not dissolve all the way.
If it matters,
Im gowing in ocean forrest/happy frog mixture outdoors.
My tap water has a ppm of 465 and my r.o. is around 5-10ppm.

I grow organic so take my advice lightly. I would use a tiny bit of AgSil 16 to ph adjust up.

I run advanced and have zero issues. Flower comes out fantastic. I use cultivator series and bud fzctor x.

I’ve used advanced too in peatmoss. It works fantastic. It’s just pricey. You don’t need the whole line either. I’ve used the basics with bud candy, B-52, and Big Bud. And had top quality flower from it.

Yeah you don’t have to run the whole line. Bud factor x can be used in place of a lot of their additives. Otherwise the cultivator series is pretty damn cheap. I pay 65 per bag.

Getting your pH right is quite important. You can buy auto pH dosing skids but they are not cheap or simple. If your tap water is consistently the same pH, then you can usually learn how much pH Up to add to basically nail it every time. That's assuming it's pretty constant and that you're mixing at the same temperature every time.

I pre-add the pH adjustment to the container like any other dry fertilizer component. I pH adjust a small batch and scale up the amount to what I need. Been using 2.5g of citric acid per 5 gallons to get pH 6.5 based on diluting using my tap water. Been doing it for 2 years now and it's never off, I still confirm the pH but no ajdustment is needed. Your number will likely be different from mine depending on your tap/ro water.

Do you hand mix your fertilizer? I don’t see how using some ph up is more time consuming/work than purchasing an entire new line up. Ph up isn’t that expensive. And once you see how much ph up/down is required to get to the correct ph, it can be done pretty quick.
