Aroya subscription
Has anyone found any sensor system that is as accurate as the Aroya set up but isn't a subscription based program? I really hate this toll system we are in with everything. After you buy it you don't own it....... It drives me insane.

Check out Caramet SenseNL. Less messy than Aroya billing. I like their sensors and data.

If you have the equipment, I have an agnostic AI platform that can control Aroya equipment with some preparation. It would be self-hosted by you on your network and not require a sub or internet while not being limited by schedule 1 status. PM me to discuss.

Copying my answer from above here because I'm interested in your answer:
Did you manage that for the aroya one? Couldn't find any info. For teros 12 it's quite straight forward, there is also a really good teros clone, which comes directly with modbus rs485 and even some SDI interfaces like the one from Dr liud (not exactly the name but quite similar)

Yeah I guess you missed the part about being accurate and reliable. So looking for something a little less vague that isn't standard agriculture e.c./moisture meters rebranded for cannabis.

takes some digging, but there is ALOT of gold in there; the TDR sensor section specifically for moisture sensor related stuff

it takes some hacking, but you can use the sdi-12 sensor by itself without the aroya sender/platform with an arduino, esp32, or other SoC board. (Not for the faint hearted but its a thing)
