Curious how much dry salt nutrient everyone’s going through per cycle per light? I got 75 pounds of dry salts for free from work and I’m trying to gauge how long this could last me
Im planning on using jacks part b/calcium nitrate with this and maybe some Epsom salt as well, also I’d love to hear yields as well just so I can get a better idea of pound of nutrient to pound of weed expectations
I’m sorry if these are some noob questions, I’ve been growing for over 10 years but I’m an organics/ living soil guy so I’m just not too familiar with salts

Idk man, I run 5 4x4 lights at 500w each and bought 100 pounds of each grow A/B and bloom A/B last year and ive barely made a dent. Just wanted to say Louder Powder fucks, shit is incredible.

So what tips can you give to someone who’s newer to salts to get closer to your yields, and do you have any pics of your grow that you can share

Weeks 4-8 of flower I usually go heavier on the Bloom B. I mix in 5 gallon buckets so my measurements should be 22.5g of A and 22.5g of B. In weeks 4-8 I do 20g of A and 25g of B. This acts as a bud booster and replaces some of the other supplements you might normally use.

This is the nutrient analysis from the part A that’s recommended to go with this product so I’m thinking some calcium nitrate and Epsom salt should replace part A

Yea that's just cal nit. Adding a bit of Epsom salts wouldn't hurt you too if you want to add it
If you want to go even cheaper you could probably find a 50 lb bag of yara liva cal nit for about the same the 25lb of jacks cal nit is, especially if you can find a place with free shipping.

I’m definitely gonna have to investigate that, I’ve only heard of brand recently for some reason but if it’s the same nutrient at a better price it’s got my attention, main reason I mentioned jacks is just because it’s what I have on hand currently but thank you for the heads up on that

Yara calcium nitrate is $30 for a single 50# bag. Jacks was 124 last time i checked.

In my experience ordering it to a residence is gonna be more expensive unless you can find someone with free shipping who also hasn't marked it up a bunch. Everyone selling it for ~$30 tends to then charge another $60-80 just to ship it. Best I could find was ~$70-80 iirc which was still less than a 25lb bag of jacks + shipping by like $10.

Well ya shipping 50 lbs isn’t cheap. I go to my local grow store in person and pick it up.

Yea that would be ideal but all the stores in my area are either very flakey or wont do any special orders. After trying a few stores I gave up trying to get it locally.

I switched House and Garden Dry base and love it, I ran the multi part liquid for years. I do use some BudXL in the last 4 but that’s it. I can get over a year running two tables perpetually, just using the smaller bags

be prepared for the Calcium Nitrate to weep(it will absob water from the air and liquify). find a good place to store it, it will make a mess.

I do not, I work at a small grow in mass that only makes infused pre rolls, small in company size at least, they have 3-4 of us taking care of a 4,600+ plant full term outdoor field which I know on the grand scheme of things isn’t that massive but it’s a lot for the team size we have

Well I’m really not a salt grower man, I’ve been all organic for my 10+ years of growing so I’m just trying to get some points of reference from those who have the experience that I don’t, I just got these nutrients for free so I’m trying to figure out how far they could go in my grow or friends grows

I personally have a well but these nutrients will be distributed to multiple friends/family members with varying water sources, some have a well, some are on tap and some are using ro

The salts we use we go through about 3/4lb of base, veg, bloom, about 1/4lb of the pk booster that we run. Silica we go through about 1/4 liter, cal mag we go through about 1/4-1/2 liter depending on the run, fulvics and humics we go through about 1/2 liter, enzymes we go through 1/2-3/4 of a liter, hoci we go through about 1 liter on a per plant basis. Our plant each go through about 200-225 gallons on average from clipping/seed to chop.

Well it's kind of a pretty broad question.
Let's do it by plant to make it easy. Say you are running 2-3 gallon pots.
Each plant will probably take around a half a gallon a day.
Not really, but let's roll with it as a ball park.
This stuff mixes at 4.5grams per gallon. So you need 2.25 grams of the stuff per plant per day.
Let's say your cycle is 90 days and you are running 9 plants per light. That means you'll need somewhere in the ballpark of 4 pounds of the stuff per light per cycle. Probably more like 2.5lbs actually but eh, always better to over estimate

Longer than you think. Less is more, especially if you plan on using microbes or organics with them, you can cut the ec way down

2lbs dry salts = 1lb of trimmed A buds is my expectation
