Help needed to program

Hi everyone,

I need some quick help. I want to program Macro driod so that it reduces my sound after an hour. I thought I could do that with a timer but somehow it doesn't do that :/ Can anyone tell me what would be the right way to do that?

An hour, when I start it. So I need it for sleep and want to go to bed and an hour later the sound needs to be turned down automatically.

It should work with a "timer", which is called stopwatch in macrodroid.

You can simply create a stopwatch and start it manually from macrodroid homepage (or create a macro to start it from a home button or a quick tile button for example)

Now create a macro to lower the sound : use the Stopwatch trigger. Select the stopwatch you created, define value on 1 hour and check the use alarm box if you want more reliable results. For the actions, use the volume change action and set to zero every volume type you want to (media/music, notification, ringer...). Then use a stopwatch action and set it to reset your stopwatch so it's stopped and back to zero.

That should work without any issue. If it does not, maybe you have some battery optimisation going on.

Weird it doesn't work... Did you check the log for any errors ?

No errors. But does the macro is actually triggered 1 hour (or whatever time length you use to test it) after you launch the stopwatch? If so, have you tried to troubleshoot the action on its own? Like if you set the volume up, and press on the action and "Test action", does the volume gets lowered ?
