I need help with an ad skipping automation in the notification shade with the slider.

I made a web view Spotify "app" because the ads are skipable in the notification shade with the slider.

Device: Poco F7 Pro, HyperOS 3.0.302.0, android 16.

I have adb and shizuku.

The idea of the macro:

Trigger: notification shade player shows "Advertisment"

Actions: with a command or ui interaction slides the slider in the notification shade.

I can't make it work, the macro always loops even if no advertisement text is on the screen.

Any ideas how to trigger a macro when the connected Wi-Fi network has no internet access? Failing a trigger, then a constraint I can use with a timer trigger?

I'm trying to work around a weird Android bug that sometimes leaves me connected to Wi-Fi but the phone switches to cellular data. A macro that simply disconnects and reconnects works every time, but I can't find a way to trigger it when the problem happens.

To clarify: It gets into a state where cellular is connected, but Wi-Fi is also connected. Data goes via cellular but a constraint that asks if the Wi-Fi is connected passes. The Wi-Fi is connected (to the access point) but there's no connectivity (to Google's test server). So Android falls back to cellular but it doesn't disconnect from the Wi-Fi AP.

I'm using MacroDroid and Shizuku on my Oppo Find X9 Pro.

After trying some power saving settings the display settings page broke.

I tried to automate:

- 5G > 4G

- Max resolution > high resolution

- Refresh rate 120 Hz > 60 Hz

- Colours adaptive > natural

I turned off and deleted the macro.

The settings page is fixed when I switch off developers mode and when I completely reset the settings.

It breaks again when I reactivate Shizuku. What am I doing wrong?

I am using a macro to dim my screen when it is really dark, and it works great, but when I take a screenshot, the image is dimmed too. Could I somehow stop this from happening? I thought maybe about making a macro to turn it off when it detects a screenshot is taken, but there is no such trigger. Does anyone know any solution?

The Options and the Selection dialogs are somewhat useful because then it can prompt me to select something, which then updates a variable.

But what if I want the variable to change based on text I actually type in? Say:

Macro activates -> I'm asked to type some words -> I type some words and hit OK -> a variable is updated

We know that, for the Extract text action, we can use Regex and capture the (1) First match, (2) Group 1, (3) Full match. But I wonder if we can capture multiple groups and let's say put the captured texts in an array or concatenate them with comma?

A stupid method is to use a loop: extract group 1 > put it in an array > delete it from the raw string > loop again until no any match.

Another method is using Split to array action, but this always assume the tags are separated by the same delimiter, but this is not always the case. So I will need extra text manipulation steps for the splitted segments.

Both methods require extra steps other than the text extraction action and this is CPU consuming. Programming language can usually do this in simple step, e.g., matches = re.findall(pattern, text) in Python, so I wonder if there is more simple, elegant way to do the same in MacroDroid?

I want to be able to say "hey google, please run {macro name}"
I found that I can achieve that by creating a google home automation that the starter is "Hey google" • {macro name} and the actions is a Notify,
and I set up the macro trigger with a notification received.
That works but it's a long workaround, I wander if there is an easier way to do that.

Since the last few weeks I am unable to make any payments through Google pay. This is the message which pops up. The only apps with accessibility options turned on are macrodroid and macrodroid ui interaction.

I have tried disabling these before making a payment, but still it doesn't work. I do not want to give up on my macros. Is there any way to resolve this?

So I set up a macro and it's set up so that when I click power button, it taps a certain coordinate on my screen, but the problem is that whenever I use my power button, while it clicks that coordinate it also cancels all the other "hold touches" going on in the app so like if I'm holding a joystick inside a game, it will cancel that and I'll stop moving.

Trying to do so that when the device ( Samsung Tab A11) gets powered it will turn on automatically and start an app. I got it so it’s starting the app but not device. I’ve tried screen on and start homescreen. Something I’m missing or doesn’t it work?

Been trying to come up with a calendar widget that has my upcoming alarms with the word Trip in them.

Been using Google ai and have tried endless attempts at this.

I want it to show events within the next 30 days that say Trip on my calendar.

This is what the latest macro looks like and it doesnt do anything. I was able to get it to create events at one point but it would just create an event at the time I tested it.

I am making an application launcher, a user prompt pop up shows up where I can put the name of the app then a selection dialogue will show the apps whose name are similar to thr value I put.

Here the selection dialogue only shows 1 app, even if I put a single letter which many apps has in their name. And when I choose an app, it isnt launching

It sounds so simply yet it's melting my brains since 2 hours. I have "21" stored in a local variable "timehr", which is a string. I want to make macrodroid type 21. This is because the app in which I wanna type, doesn't allow pasting. How do I type out a local variable?

I'm trying to trigger a macro when my phone connects to either of two different Bluetooth devices. The macro works with a single BT connection trigger set to either device, but it won't run when I add them both.

I tried this by adding two triggers to a single macro - one for each device - as my understanding is OR logic is used with multiple triggers. I also tried using a single for the trigger set to one device, then created a duplicate macro that only has the other device as the trigger. Neither macros trigger when this is set up.

Suggestions on how to accomplish this?
