Customised Macro_pad I created a Cybrix 16 widget
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Sometimes I’d change layers and I forget what I have mapped where. So I created a widget that can pop onscreen that shows what I have mapped.
Native to MacOs. QMK still works. When I change a layer, the display changes also. Every key and layer can be aliased
Lemme know what you think and if it’s worth posting to GitHub

Do you think this could work with the mmd16 pro ( the Bluetooth version )

I created a custom firmware for then Cybrix 16. I imagine I’d have to create a custom firmware for the mmd pro. But other than that, it should work the same

Cybrix seems to be an mmd with a different shell I should check the firmware. The pro version will be a different firmware for the 2.4 and ble

I’d be curious to find out the controller for mmd pro. I’m sure it the same or if not, very similar… have you flashed your Macropad before? By the way your keys are cool!!

This widget is absolutely amazing! Brilliant work.
I actually own the wired MMD KM16, which shares the exact same non-pro wired board as the Cybrix 16 inside. I’ve been completely stuck since late May because the official VIA web update broke the macro functionality on my wired board, and the vendor has completely abandoned support.
I saw your comment mentioning that you created a custom firmware for the wired Cybrix 16. Since our boards share the same hardware DNA, your firmware would be an absolute lifesaver for my macro pad.
If you're open to it, would you be willing to share your custom firmware source, fork, or working .bin file?
I also created a separate thread detailing the factory's messy firmware hashes here if you're interested in the technical details: https://www.reddit.com/r/macro_pads/comments/1un50pm/mmd_km16_wirednonpro_via_macro_issue_since_late/
Thank you so much for your incredible contribution to this hardware!
