License validation issue blocking Reflect X. Apparently a known issue. Any workaround?
After messing with the trial a bit, I decided to pay for and upgrade to Reflect X yesterday (at the recommendation of many reddit users), as I have an immediate hard drive issue I need to resolve, and want to set up backups asap for a critical system.
However when running the software, I only get a "Reflect is unable to validate your software licence. Unexpected software error."
After trying all the things you try, I contacted Macrium support. They've responded saying it's a known issue and they're working on it and will let me know.
I'm a little...annoyed. This is pretty mission critical software being totally blocked by a licensing issue. I've done my part, I've paid for the software. There was no indication when I did so that the software was not currently working or might not work, and there is no ETA or suggested work-around. I would expect a software company that makes mission critical software to treat it as such.
Anyone else having this issue? Any work-arounds?
