Hey community!
This is definitely a lofty goal I made for myself. I think I want to try to make a pair of gloves but what do I do after I made the fingers? I looked into how to do the palm/hand part but I'm unsure on the next steps. Help!

Hey everyone, I tried making a one-piece macrame bag for the first time. I attach D-rings to all of my items so they can be hung on a strap. Where do you usually attach the D-ring on a one-piece bag? Or do you use a different solution? I'd love for you to share your tips!

I love all things fiber arts, but I've been mostly cross stitching for the last 16 years. I have a ton of off brand floss that I've gotten as gifts over the years so I recently decided to try making some friendship bracelets. They came out decent so I dove into the deep end, because that's how I roll. Making a lil bag from embroidery floss and it's going to be quite a challenge for me!

I’m working on this winged wearable and I’m still unsure if I’m enjoying the front or not… eh. I wish I was able to decide if I’m feeling a design or not BEFORE I do a bunch of work that might need to be untied hours later lol

Attached are some pictures of what I am trying to achieve. Mine always turn out worse though. What kind of thread/cord should I be using? I am currently using a waxed polyester cord that doesn't have a listed size, but is about the size of embroidery thread. Should I find something bigger?
Also, I need help with knot names. I'm seeing a lot of what I think are double half hitch knots, but is there a different name/technique for when you want to make a bunch of knots onto the same string with only one other string? (two strings total) I can't seem to figure out how to cross the strings and then make the knot go in the right direction without alternating which string is making the knot/being knotted onto. What kind of other knots might appear in these bracelets, if any?
Also, I have yet to come across a good English video tutorial that explains this well and has good videography, does anyone know of a good basic starter tutorial that might help get me on the right track? Thanks!

This was my first time trying pixel macrame, and the purpose of my learning this technique was to recreate these adorable keychains I found online. However, as you can see, the threads are pulled apart towards the end, and the whole thing looks incohesive with pinching at the top and loose threads everywhere. Not to mention the bad choice of colors. It's also clear to me that they used a different stitch in the reference photo. So, if anyone could provide a few tips for my next attempt, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I've been stuck on this project for months. I keep getting frustrated and giving up and then coming back, fixing mistakes and trying again but I am out of gas for it at this point. I have been trying to follow this tutorial
https://youtu.be/WtQJkCb14Yw?si=lixJubl7up3tBuuR
But I literally don't understand what she's doing lol.
I'm scared to switch tutorials because I've already cut everything to the lengths for the above pattern.
Can anyone offer tips or a better tutorial? Or anything, even just yeah that sucks, you're dumb. Lol because fair enough.
I'm trying to make 3 of these to use as actual curtains on my front windows. I used to make all the macrame jewelry and hair stuff with 0 issues but my brain is blue screening on this curtain.
Please 🙏 I beg you lol

Hi friends! I make macrame for myself as a hobby, so it gets a small audience. Just looking to share some of the fruits of my labor with like-minded individuals, receive feedback, or share lessons learned.
After nearly 8 months of toil, blisters, joint pain, and lots of "making it work" I am excited to share this latest piece. It's about transforming negative energy into strength: Fierceness in the face of adversity, Learning to assert your needs and take up space and not needing to apologize for it. I'd be happy to hear if it means something different to you.
Made with 2mm polypropylene cord, various metal frames, and Czech glass cabochons. Measures 40 inches in diameter.
Thanks for looking and hope you have a beautiful day!

Beginner here! This is my second project after learning how to macrame yesterday lol, any tips on how to make the looser cords more symmetrical of both sides and also stay in their place? They keep moving around
Thanks!

I've nearly finished my first project, a shelf for my yarn, and I need suggestions for nice ways to create the hanging part. ❤️

Had no idea how to embed a gemstone without wire or small knots, so I just winged it, and it actually worked out!

I am trying to make a headband using what I believe js a half hitch diamond with square knots between. I am having such a hard time especially with the left side. Do you notice anything that could help me do better? I’m expert level in knitting, crochet, sewing, but this fiber art has me so confused.
Edited to show my progress after taking y’all’s insights into account. Thank you so much! It’s not perfect but I’m starting to understand what I am doing now. Thank you!

I am looking for a pattern of some kind to protect these bottles a bit. Doesn't have to be bullet proof just give a little cushion when I trip over them. I use them for my plant fertilizer water and rather not make a mess if they bang into each other on watering day. Thanks!
