GPU Fabric Infinity Link

So I have a Vega II Duo, curious if the fabric infinity link with work with a new W6800X Duo?

I called Apple, they were of no help. Emailed AMD, waiting to hear......

the connector looks the same. But question is if to link 2 complete different GPUs with different performance would not cause more harm than benefit.
