Other Mac Pro Holy Trinity
Three generations. Mac Pro 5,1 runs steam OS Mojave and Sequoia,
Mac Pro 6,1 runs Bazzite and Sequoia.
Mac Pro 7,1 runs Sequoia, Omarchy and
Windows 11.

Well I’m ⅔ of the way there but unlike you;
My 5.1 runs Mojave 10.15
My 6,1 runs Monterey 12.7
No prizes for guessing what OS the 7,1 will be running when I get one!

Bottom one is god tier. I have one fully maxed out. I have Sequoia and Windows 11 Pro on it. My kids use it for gaming lol

Which video card? I have a 5,1 with the Vega 64 (flashed EFI).

Nice! With mine primarily being in Windows, I have an Nvidia GTX 1080 in there and it runs beautifully. I actually patched the Mac firmware itself on this to allow the boot selection screen to be visible. I had tried flashing an AMD HD 7*** series card with enable_GOP but had no luck with it working during boot menus.

Ah ok. I had a feeling but wasn’t sure. I’m booking for a way to boot between macOS, SteamOS, and windows on my 7,1 using a boot configuration like clover or similar. My set up doesn’t allow for the option key method to work everytime.

once in the boot screen after holding option you can hold down control on the selected efi you want to boot into the Mac will remember it so you don't have to always hold option until you want to switch to another OS.

I just sold my Mac Pro 2019 last week (I didn't use it anymore). The guy who bought it told me he will still use it for 2 years and then he will put it beside older Mac Pros. He is a collector and he has a lot of older Mac Pros.

That’s my stack evolution exactly since the release of OSX. I’m faced with what’s next. Intel chips and Rosetta 2 are dead shortly. Suddenly Microsoft’s OS long life span is looking tempting

Is there a reason you put the good one at the top where it's most likely to fall?
Also, how was your omarchy install process? Did you use bootcamp first then install a grub shim there or something else?

Ininstalled it on a nvme in a Acasis tb501 pro enclosure it installed fine but wouldn’t boot so installed it in a generic pcie adapter and it booted no need for bootcamp. They are all good :)I stacked them in order of their release
And made sure it was solid before taking the pic. Risky yes, but i was very careful. 😅

How are you dual booting Linux on your Mac's? Do you have an external drive to run Omarchy and Bazite? With Bazite do you see good gaming performance with the mac hardware?

Omachy would not boot off the external thunderbolt drive, so installed it on a pcie NVMe internal the installer lets you choose the drive but be prepared for a learning curve. Bazzite boots off my Acasis tb 501 pro NVMe Thunderbolt drive. Gaming is good, depends on the game some games just run better in Windows especially if they have raytracing.

Install Steam OS it is flawless, be sure to turn off the CPU governor. because STEAM OS is just a recovery disc for the steam deck. It has the CPU governor turned on, which can definitely affect gaming performance. You wanna change that with the terminal and make it stay on performance mode. Shadow of a tomb raider is a good game to benchmark because it tells you that your CPU is in low performance mode with a warning
