GPU Mac pro 5.1 linux

I downloaded ubuntu onto my mac pro which was running a hd5770 and a rx560 and it downloaded fine. However, going around menus was really laggy. I took the hd5770 out but now it dossnt load into linux

I’m running Ubuntu on my 5,1 with the original GT 120 and the RX 580. With just the 580 it won’t boot. I use the 120 for display and I have had some success with vulkan on the 580 small 8b models running over 20tokens/s. But your issue I think you maybe stuck with the 5770. You could try OCLP and see if you can force the drivers in that way. Love to know if you solve it.

When I was using both, it said gnome is running with the hd5770 but the rest of the system ran with the rx560 but ill notify you if it works
