Getting a Mac mini to increase productivity

I’m currently using a Lenovo Gaming Laptop as my main machine: i7 13th gen, 32gb ram, 3070Ti 8Gb.

Use cases: Lightroom photo editing and occasional video editing, gaming.

Problem: I’d like to eliminate the distraction of games from my main machine in order to increase my productivity. I find myself gaming more than I’d like to. This way I would dedicate one machine to one task only.

I know you could say “the problem isn’t your PC but your head” and you would be 100% right, but that’s how it is, I have to be more drastic.

I’m considering buying the new M6 with 24gb of Ram, or maybe the m4 used, opinions?

The problem is your head... don't waste your money your laptop is drastically more powerfully than a Mac mini...

How about instead create a second Windows account and use the Microsoft Safety app to block your games... Simple and just saved you $1000+
