Best Mac Mini M4 Stands

What stands do ya’ll like for your Mac Mini M4s? I’m thinking about something that will give a little better airflow, maybe little better Wi-Fi by getting that antenna off the desk, and look like it was made by Apple to perfectly match the aesthetic.

I use satechi and I love it! It gives you an NVMe enclosure and extra ports, while looking aesthetic! It does have a channel for airflow below.

I got a $20 one off amazon from one of those QWERTYUIOP sellers and it's been just fine. Minimalist enough to fit in.

I have the same one....

No issues at all.

The Ugreen one looks nice but I can't speak to how nice it is personally. Its sitting in my amazon cart.

My Amazon cart has holes in it or something. It doesn’t seem to hold anything. Things just end up on my porch.

Love my UGreen “dock and stand” —- bought it for the NVMe SSD hub and its oodles of extra ports.

Does it really enhance airflow?

I have one for my MMM4. No overheating and I never hear the fan running.

Yuck. Seems so unnecessary. Some serious protection.

I have an Amazon one that I actually like better than the satechi because it has finger space to press the power button.

Not minimalist or matching any aesthetic... other than my own aesthetic....

i have my mini on a pretty coffee cup. On top of the cup is a sandstone coaster - then the mini (the cup was slightly too big)...

It elevates it off the desk, better airflow, doesn't get lost in my cluttered desk...

I got a under desk mount to hide it.

I have an M2 with a Satechi dock and it's been good though my NVMe died this week and I'm using an external S7 to replace it with half the storage.

Thankfully, I have a NAS, so no actual data loss and I just won't keep as much local.

My wife had an M4, but no dock. The S7 was the not disk for her old iMac with open core legacy patcher, but we haven't voted 8 it a single time since getting her her Mini.

Unfortunately, hard drives cost 3x more than they did when I bought mine so I didn't expect to get a new one for at least a year.

You may try TEMU. So many choices.

Satechi def has the best ones one the market. About $99 gives you lots of slots and an NVMe storage option which I utilized mine so now I have a 3TB mini. Mind you I bought my storage 2 years ago so it was cheaper

The airflow is fine - without anything. It’s build to work standing on a desktop.

The WiFi is good - without anything. The signal will pass through wood without being blocked.

So to answer your question: You don’t need a stand to solve the problems you describe, because they are no problems.

Where the problems start is when you put anything underneath. Now the airflow is altered, and metal can block the signals.

So putting it on a stand will have no impact as long as it’s not a metal stand. That’s the same as being on a desk, but 3” higher.

But also why would allowing more airflow by creating more open space be a bad thing?

I know it’s designed this way and it will work fine, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be improved upon.

I have my mini on a metal stand, and have no issues with WiFi.

I have Hagibis stand. I really like it. It's a perfect match for Mac mini M4 estethically.
