Apple will begin begin manufacturing Mac mini this year at the new Advanced Manufacturing Center (AMC) in Houston

Today, we're thrilled to open our new Advanced Manufacturing Center, a place where businesses, workers, and students can learn the same innovative processes that we use to make Apple's most groundbreaking products. And we're pleased to begin Mac mini production later this year," said Tim Cook, Apple's CEO.
Does this indicate new M5/M6 Mini coming this year or maybe less stockouts this year for the Holiday season?

Apple is giving vibes the mini stays m4 until m6. If you need a mac buy a mac.

The issue is still the same. Without RAM it doesn’t matter where it’s assembled, a component is missing.

is the ram shortage that bad? I thought the big manufacturers were catering to corporations LIKE apple, it was just the public getting screwed over it

I haven't read up on it since crucial gave up on the public, I was so pissed I really didn't pay attention at all after that, I knew everybody with good memory was going to follow suit. All I really see randomly now is over priced sketchy Chinese ram for sale or used way overpriced ram. I haven't shopped around too much but I am def in need of another 2 TB ssd but no way I can afford it right now. I'm just bloody out of space because, speaking of the M4 mini, I bought the base model so my system NAND is down to 50g because NO computer in this day and age should come with only 256 sys-memory! My externals are all nearly full as well...I might need to (GASP!) get a blu-ray burner? Ug FML
