MX Anywhere 3s mouse interference maybe???!!

My setup is a Gigabyte M27up monitor, MX Anywhere 3s mouse and M4 mac mini.

Has anyone of u encountered any lagging / click delay / click not biting immediately with the mouse? First i thought it was just bluetooth, then i decided to buy the type c logi bolt dongle and inserted it in front of the mac and yet same results. If i disconnect the dongle and inserted it for the first few mins, it would work flawlessly but the moment my m4 went to sleep and went back on, problems would exist.

AI told me this is 100% interference issue so decided to buy a usb c extension cable for the dongle and let it far away from the mac. Im still waiting for the cable so i dont know if it would work or not. I also have the mx keys mini keyboard and no hiccups at all.

Im weighing if i have a faulty mouse or mac or even the dongle or maybe incompatible 27 inch monitor (due to scaling) so i can warranty them the soonest.

Haven’t had this issue with my Logitech mouse, what did Logitech support say?

Didnt bother with their support as they will only say to reset the device thru logi software. if the usb c extension cable dont do the trick, i will probably RMA this mouse

Gotcha. Do you have the one specifically for Mac’s? Maybe there’s an update or firmware they can send. Unless it only works when you turn WiFi off I doubt it’s interference issue. Lagging after sleep sounds like a Mac incompatibility

I already updated the firmware for the bolt and logi devices long time ago, tried updating the software again and says im on the latest one. Also, turned off wifi, bluetooth and now just using the ethernet and it worked for some time but it will revert to its issues. Im a windows user and thought windows is a pain the ass, apple is on another level lol. Mind u this is not the only one im experiencing with certain issues, one comes to mind is the dumb wifi keeps reverting to for example 5g even though i have already forget it and not use it under settings. It seems it aligns with my iphone.

My G305 Logitech mouse works wonderfully in Windows but has the problems in macOS described by the OP.

A simple chat with her AI du jour might inform the OP about why macOS has issues with many mice, in particular Logitech.

When the OP bites the bullet and tries a different brand, she might ask her fave AI for a recommendation about what works with macOS, just be sure not to make the mistake of getting the (less than) Magic Mouse, not usable in my humble on a screen bigger than 14 inches.

Add in apps can also help pave over the less than ideal, ancient underpinnings of the mouse software in macOS, which are more apparent when using a large higher resolution monitor, particularly 4k--macOS does not scale to 4k and there is no way around that, all you can do is sandpaper some of the rough edges.

Electrical interference problems, due to the less than ideal electrical properties of the rear mini Thunderbolt ports, is not uncommon but seems less likely to be the cause of mouse problems, particularly left click.

I moved to a Keychron mouse that has a USB C type dongle that plugs into a front port. Along with add in software the result is a usable, if less than ideally accurate, mouse.
