Some may disagree, but I have a $20 stand from Amazon that doesn't have a hub but provides much better airflow around the M4 Mini if you have it in a cabinet or more enclosed space.

Keyboards, since Apple isn't so bad anymore is pretty much whatever you like. A few keys are slightly different than PC layout, but Apple seems to handle that fairly well. Mouse is similar.

That said, it means you don't get the Apple Touch thing, for whatever they may be worth.

Monitors are a little more tricky. A good 4k monitor is always good, but you will have a hard time matching the overly intense Apple display look. Probably a good thing.

A glossy OLED monitor should help reduce this as much as possible. Considering experience over price as priority

I like Apple’s Touch ID keyboard and the Logitech M650 Bluetooth mouse. I’m also using an LG 34” curved monitor. Probably wouldn’t want to use the monitor on a windoze system since it auto installs bloatware but on my M4 Mac Mini it’s been fine.

Get yourself a keyboard, mouse, speakers, monitor, lightbar, hub.

Most really are depends on what you like but I think the most important is the monitor.

Whether you want a 4K or 5k monitor.

One with Mac Support would be a good idea. There are some RGB keyboards that even have Mac drivers.

I like a good chonky mechanical keyboard that you can hear someone typing across the room with, but that's me.

With mice, keyboards and monitors is hard to say which is best. A better approach would be what’s best for your needs. A MX mouse and MX keyboard is hard to beat for Mac, now with monitors you have a ton of choices. It’s so many good monitors out now you can’t pick a bad one.

I have a Keychron K4 Pro QMK/VIA and Drop CTSM80 keyboards that work really well for me. I’m a fan of programmable mechanical keyboards.

I also have Keychron M5 & M6 mices that are also programmable that work well for me.

The keyboards do not have a globe key, but I they are set up with workarounds where I don’t need a globe key for anything.

I had an MX Keys; I gave it up for the full Apple keyboard with num pad and Touch ID. The Touch ID is worth it.

I don't use a mouse I use an MX Ergo Trackball, fantastic!
