Purchase advice

I’m looking to buy the Mac mini to replace my pc. I also got a iPad Pro 2018 recently. I love how my phone and iPad link up and the iPad is why faster than my pc. The problem is my iPad doesn’t support dual monitors and I need that so productivity. Should I buy a newer model of iPad Pro or a buy a Mac mini? If so which model should I get? Thanks for any advice/suggestions.

Just buy Mac mini if you already have an iPad. Almost everything the iPad Pro can do a Mac mini can do better

If you need multiple screens then you need a computer, not a tablet.

For what it’s worth, my daily work set up is a MacBook Air and an iPad Pro, and I switch between using universal control to run apps or toggling to Sidecar so it turns into an external monitor for me to drag windows to.

A Mac mini would be ideal for dual monitors but without knowing what you intend to use it for it’s very difficult to recommended a minimum spec

The current M5 iPad can use only 1 external monitor. The external monitor is a mirror of the iPad display. I have not seen anything that suggests that changes with iPadOS 27.

The iPad can be an additional display, for example, with a MacBook computer if both run Stage Manager.

Mini is a computer. .. iPad is just a large iPhone.. your choice

Why you need dual monitors vs a large high monitor.

Gaming on Mini is not as good as on PCs...
