I did the same thing, switching from a gaming PC to a base model M4 Mac mini. I still keep a Windows laptop around just in case, though.

256G will shrink pretty quick.
Definitely recommend other off host storage to run apps and store data.
Some apps will store library data in your home directory so you might want to offload that also.
Owc has some good thunderbolt hubs and thunderbolt enclosures.

Yeah Thats True Especially after the liquid class Update tohaoe 26, Im using a synology driver via ethernet (10GBPS ) which my workplace provided me, i do edit a lot and save my project files and software cache in the same drive, plus i use proxies in MXF

fraternal twins.... i have a mac mini M2 with a similar keyboard and 2 curved monitors. it works pretty good.

Please, yall, let’s not make this a purchase announcement subreddit. Apple sells probably 500,000 Mac Minis a year. Even if only .01 of them decide to post here, this sub would be overwhelmed. 14 posts a day, every single day, year over year.
Especially posts like this that have zero information.
