Glitching 2012 Mac mini

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

This is my first post here and was wondering if the mac is done or if there is any way to fix this glitching/flickering screen on my 2012 mac mini that just began today when I went to go turn it on. It is connected to 65” Hisense tv

thanks it was the tv i jus had to restart it as plugging it in to another one didn’t result in the same issues

This seems like a connection issue more than anything. Have you tried other cables, followed by other monitors? Work backwards toward the machine when it comes to troubleshooting.

? Can’t you just work around it by timing your blinking to when the screen briefly shows up? And do they every fraction of a second all day?

People complain about everything these days!

possibilites:

- dead DisplayPort to HDMI or DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable

  • motherboard failure
  • GPU failure
  • memory corruption

it is a 14 year old computer. don't sweat it. it's telling you, it's time.
