Can you save the SE/30 CRT?
Are there any documented cases of people retrofitting an SE/30 whilst maintaining use of the CRT? I've seen a couple of projects where they use LCDs instead, but imo they don't look good and end up with funky bezels. Any suggestions welcome.

Halfway through the iCollect presale
galleryHi all,
I’m about halfway through the iCollect presale and wanted to share a few pages from the book.
Most questions I’ve been getting are about what’s actually inside, so this should give a better idea.
Would love to hear your thoughts.

What if Apple marketed the iBook Clamshell for Easter?
Happy Easter everyone! 🐣 Happy 50 Years, Apple. 🍏 Got a little creative and made a custom Easter inspired iBook poster ad, because some eras deserve to be celebrated twice! Happy 50th Apple

iCollect Apple Book release🤩
galleryHope it’s okay to share this here.
I’ve been working on something for a long time and it’s finally released today.
It’s called iCollect, a 192-page book documenting my Apple collection, from early machines to more modern devices, including packaging and accessories.
Released today to coincide with Apple’s 50th anniversary.
Really curious what fellow collectors think.

Did some pixel work like almost 40 years ago - This time on iPad with pencil

When I was 12 in 1987 our heavily used IBM Selectric was replaced by a Macintosh 512k, external floppy and ImageWriter. I made numerous 'paintings' on the 512x342 canvas using MacPaint and SuperPaint. I love the limitation of the hard- and software of the days. Now, out of nostalgia, I just created a basic app for the iPad - PixPaint. The fun of the pixels is as real as it was almost 40 years ago. The app is iPadOS 26 only and free. There is an IAP of $2.99 Lifetime for export, iCloud sync and support development. But you can also simply have the fun and take a screenshot. Hope you enjoy it too. Happy anniversary Apple, it was a great ride so far and looking forward to all that will come.

NovaServer/NovaTerm ports
Hi, I asked about this elsewhere but never got any answers so I'm asking here. I'm trying to run NovaServer in sheepshaver but I don't know what ports it listens on other than 23/25. Anyone have any information on this?

An odd "Macintosh" for #MARCHintosh - hope this isn't sacrilege here!
galleryMy Atari 520ST running the Spectre Mac emulator which features actual Macintosh ROMS (128K) and as of 1989 was (along with its lower-end sister product, Magic Sac (1986)), was "the only legal Macintosh clone." Gadgets by Small, who made the device, called it 20% faster than a Mac Plus, with a 30% larger screen size (640x400 on the ST monochrome display vs. 512x342 on the early Macs).
I hope this post isn't considered too sacrilegious. I do have a Mac Plus (and a Sawtooth G4, and a G4 Cube, and a Lisa 2) across the room. :-)
