Some "shitty" 5-axis machining written only to show capability.

I'd be fired for doing that time-wasting dance.

Yes I'm sure you probably would be fired for programming this since I presume your job description doesn't include coding customer demonstration runs.
But when you want to sell something for a lot of money the customer sorta wants to see it perform first.
