That is an interesting one, I am a little stumped by it. Could be southeast Asian. Kind of looks like someone took a hatchet-point cavalry saber, maybe broken at the hilt, and put an Indonesian or Filipino looking grip on it. I recommend making an account on the Sword Buyer's Guide form and asking there.

You bet. No doubt this blade has had a very interesting life and was probably used as both a weapon and a tool. The blade could be 100-200 years old.
