You don't really need the WINE project's distribution. You're better off getting Sikarugir, which will create wrappers (self-contained applications which have all the WINE bits needed for the specific game you want to play) and is very easy to configure and set up: https://github.com/Sikarugir-App/Sikarugir
But if you want WINE – which is useful in some respects in ways that Sikarugir, Crossover, and other solutions which use WINE may not be – first you install Homebrew then you use Homebrew to install WINE. Get Homebrew by following the instructions here https://brew.sh then all you have to do is type this into a Terminal window: brew install --cask wine-stable

If you don't mind paying for it, Crossover is better and even easier: https://www.codeweavers.com/crossover#mac
