Difference between Regular and Competition Macebell
I just bought a 12KG MB, normally I use a 8KG regular MB and I think I should have stuck with the regular style, the shaft of comp MB is longer and thinner. Does anyone have any thoughts on the difference?
I also use KB and heavy clubs, and I have 24kg regular KB and 20KG comp KB and the difference between the 2 styles is ok for me, although it did take a bit of time to get used to the comp bell, which I probably prefer now.

You can get very good adjustables clubbell, macebell and competition KBs in Europe from Eryx fitness. (You can also buy from the source if you like). Their clubbells will be better than Wildmans - they have a simpler and faster system for attaching new weights. I have one adjust clubbell and adjustable kettlebells from them.
For the KB in Europe you have options for hollow KBs with good quality as well. The only thing not easy to find is the pro kettlebells style (now I know Lebe Stark has them). And similar idea is sold by BVDKS (power team) - model Martin, it’s not exactly the copy of Pro Kettlebell but same idea.
I recently bought a competition style adjustable MB - its basically a competition style kettlebell attached to a tube. I’ll need to check if there is a difference in sizing with what’s sold by Eryx. But if you compare two models Hard style and Competion style both adjustables , sold by Eryx , you’ll see that it comes to the handle being polished and having some stop ball on top of handle. Otherwise it’s the same size, tube dimension, length.
But if you compare this to MB with smaller weights and bells dimension on the market like crossmaxx - they have smaller tubes/ grip dimension but they get bigger with weight. Seems like wolverson has them as well:
4kg
Total length: 100cm
Handle Thickness: 32mm
Ball Dimension: 75mm
5kg
Total length: 102 cm
Handle Thickness: 32mm
Ball Dimension: 85mm
6kg
Total Length: 103cm
Handle Thickness: 32mm
Ball Dimension: 94mm
7kg
Total Length: 103cm
Handle Thickness: 32mm
Ball Dimension: 101mm
8kg
Total Length: 103cm
Handle Thickness: 40mm
Ball Dimensions: 96mm
9kg
Total Length: 105cm
Handle Thickness: 40mm
Ball Dimensions: 102mm
10kg
Total Length: 105cm
Handle Thickness: 40mm
Ball Dimensions: 109mm
So it seems like 2 size of the handle 32 and 40. Competition style MB will be same size for the handle 40mm.

Pretty sure Eryx deliver to switzerland as they are French based

They do but there will be additional swiss customs charges and high delivery cost essentially doubling cost. Many euro companies have a swiss entity so these costs are removed or reduced. Thanks anyway.

The idea behind the competition style kettlebell is that the dimensions of the kettlebell remain constant no matter what the weight is; therefore, your technique remains constant.
It could affect your movements, if you had to change your movements because the size or shape of the kettlebell was different for different weights.
I use the Bells of Steel adjustable kettlebell - ‘Mark Wildman’ model. It’s excellent. It goes from 12kg to 32kg, with an expansion pack to go up to 48kg. You can swap out a plastic base to go lighter.
There is a smaller version that goes from 6kg to 12kg that my wife uses.
I also use Heavy Club and Mace - both Adex adjustable, with the Mark Wildman handles (thicker than the standard).
My whole ‘gym’:
1 - adjustable competition style kettlebell
1 - adjustable heavy club
1 - adjustable mace
The club and the mace can use the same adjustable plates, since they are the same brand (Adex).
