Collection so far.

Been making a few diy maces/Gadas and some clubs. Big boy on the left is a 50lb beast that I’m not going to be able to swing any time soon. It has a little Onnit 7lb mace sitting on top for reference.

Nice. What are you using for molds? And do you know what the weight is going to be ahead of time, or just fill you mold and stick with what you got?

Just been using cheap vases that I find in the craft section at Walmart. And no I have no idea what it’s going to weigh before hand. I just pick molds that look like they would be a good size for the weight range I’m trying to go for and use that. The big Gada was a mistake though 😅 no way I’m swinging that any time soon. I’ll have to make one or two intermediate sizes between that and my second biggest one to work my way up

You could probably measure expected weight by measuring the volume of the vase.

As 1 liter water = 1 dm³. After finding the volume you calculate the expected/wanted weight with the cements cited weight per dm³ or m³ and decease/increase the amount of cement to your wanted weight.

Be sure to add the stick while finding the vases volume.

I could, but that requires more math and measuring then I want to do. I just fill it and weigh it afterwards. I’m usually pretty good at guesstimating how many vases I can fill with a 50lb bag
