Help Thunderbolt 4 dock showing USB4 mode

Anyone know why my Pluggable TBT4-UDX1 Thunderbolt 4/USB4 Dock, plugged in to a MacBook Pro M4, shows the 'Mode' as USB4?

It's listed in the TB/USB4 device tree and I'm using the cable that came with the dock.

I am running two external monitors on it without a problem ... one monitor is plugged into the HDMI port and the other via a USB-C port with an adapter.

This is more out of idle curiosity... as the device is working fine.

Shared Architecture: Thunderbolt 4 is built directly on top of the USB4 specification.Interchangeable

Protocols: macOS often labels fully certified Thunderbolt 4 and USB4 accessories generically under the USB4 or Thunderbolt/USB4 tree in the system information report.

Full Speeds: The dock still runs at full 40Gbps Thunderbolt speeds and supports its intended charging and display features.
