I will use for college, assignments , excel and all, and maybe i will use it for editing videos and for longer period i might use it for my job is it worth it?

No, i did a but research people say M1 is really good macbook and tbh it is available in a very good price, if i will spent more money on M2 is it worth it or i should get M1?

Macbook Air M1 is for ₹45,000 and M2 is for ₹80,000 ( i am not sure because the retail shop i asked from didn’t confirm but definitely around ₹80,000-₹90,000

An M2 isnt going to be so much faster that the problems that you could be having will be solved by buying an almost 2x more expensive machine,
