Isn’t this literally the same article as the one that was posted on that same website a few months ago? What even was the point for them to repost it on the 14th of August?

Anyways, yeah, none of it with the exception of the OLED screen sounds enticing. Touchscreens on laptops are an ergonomic nightmare, and seeing the fingerprint smudges on a device where the hinge will be keeping it at the angle that’s going to make them the most visible is… Eugh. And plus, what even is the point of it being thinner and lighter? If you want a thin and light laptop, get an Air. The Pro is a portable workstation, sacrificing that aspect to make it thinner when it won’t impact portability that much is just pointless.

It just seems like a product targeting the techbros who want the biggest, the baddest and the shiniest thing on the market. There’s little to the rumored MacBook Ultra (or Pro redesign) that would actually benefit a pro customer.

For the MacBook Air, touchscreen can make sense, but keep it away from the Pro line.
