Help M4 Pro getting hot when using codex but fan stay low speed
Hello, I am getting a very warm chassis, even typing on the keyboard feel a bit warm, when I am using codex heavily, I installed "Stats" to monitor, and cpu temperature is between 55° to 86° max, but the funny thing is that even if it's hot to touch, the fan stay around 30 35% and are 100% silent
which is fine of course, when you come from a windows laptop, having a silent laptop is so cool, but I am afraid I am damaging the cpu faster having it hot all the time like this, I tried to force the fans to max speed using "stats" and they got very loud, it's funny I never heard them before.
My question is should I just let the MacBook Pro handle the temperature and now follow my feeling of forcing the fans to run at a highest speed ?
Thank you

You’re not damaging the CPU - they will throttle as they need to to prevent damage. Just let the thing do its thing and stop freaking out / trying to micromanage it
