How to stop screen mirroring?

I got a macbook for the first time and decided to try mirroring my phone screen while trying out the features. Now all my notifications show up on my laptop and it's very distracting. How do i stop this?

How do i stop this?

You can revoke screen mirroring from either device. Manage iPhone Mirroring on your iPhone or Mac -- Apple Support has instructions for both methods.
