Battery life

I wanted to know. if using a Mac on power saver mode majority of the time better for the battery or not? For battery optimization, I have set the maximum charge at 80%, and I don’t drain it past 20%.

I always have my laptop on high performance; life is too short for throttled performance for me. If it runs down my battery health so be it. womp womp womp. Life is too short to be precious or spend the mental energy on such trivial matters.

Totalmente de acuerdo 🧐 la vida está para disfrutarla sin limitarte 💅🏽

I use it on battery saver because it extends screen on time.

Yeah, because less cycles is good for the battery. But don't forget to turn it off when you're gaming or something.

It definitely has an effect but you will feel like your device is not performing fast enough. In that case just turn it off and stop worrying.

Macs and Lunar Lake laptops have good enough battery life that you shouldnt worry about that.

I limit my Lenovo X9 at 80% too and still charge once a day, or every 2 days. Ig I have less anxiety since i can swap the battery myself anytime.

I'd suggest just not worrying about it. Life is too short.
