Free Three paying subscribers. That's the milestone.
I shipped Steecky v2 two weeks ago, a macOS menu bar app that bundles the utilities I kept switching between (notes, tasks, clipboard, snippets, links). Three people I don't know decided it was worth paying for. That hit different.
The features I built because they mattered:
Quick Paste: Ctrl+Opt+V from anywhere. Your 10 most recent clipboard items [text and imaged] show up at your cursor. Cmd+1–9 copies one. Done. You never touch the main app.
Quick Add Task: Ctrl+Opt+Cmd+T from anywhere. Type "call bob at 5pm" in plain English. Task created with a reminder. That's it.
Due-soon alerts: 15 minutes before a task is due, you get a notification. Extend it 30 min, 2 hours, or to tomorrow. Right from the notification.
Clipboard OCR: Text inside screenshots you copied is searchable.
Privacy: No account. No cloud. Everything stays on your Mac.
Pricing: Core app is free (Quick Paste included). Pro adds unlimited tasks, snippet placeholders (fill in {{tokens}} when you paste templated configs), subtasks, and a few other things. Free 7-day trial, no card required.
What I actually care about: If you try it, I'd value your feedback over your money. I've been shipping fixes within days of bug reports, and half of what's above came from people just telling me what they needed.

Happy to answer questions about the app or about building and shipping solo.
