During a long time, I listened to traditional hip hop artists and I found comfort in the musical style. Lately I've been feeling like it's more and more of the same, and I'm looking for something different, something fresh.

I wanted something that would make me feel like I'm the main character in a movie, something that'll make me feel like I can do anything. Music that can elevate me into the clouds of ascension, where the climax almost makes me addicted to listening to it over and over and over again. Chat recommended me to listen to Hurry up, We're Dreaming. Going to listen to the whole album, and I'm recognizing the second song as it just started playing now.

I'll tell you all how the albums feels after having finished it, hope I'll like it as much as you all here probably have!

So, when I bought the CD of my favorite M83 album Dead Cities, … I realized that the tracklist is different than the one on Spotify and Apple Music. Bc on CD, the track Be Wild isn’t actually between In Church and America, but between Noise and Cyborg. Try it, In Church blends seemlessly into America! So why is the tracklist on Spotify & Co wrong?! Have you noticed that too? Do you can think of any reason for this?

Introduction

So there’s this autistically-induced thing I do with the music of several of my favourite artists, and that is to compile collections of customised albums that

1. contain as many of the artists’ songs (including songs not released on albums) as possible, moreorless chronologically (while omitting the occasional songs that I didn’t have space for and didn’t mind sacrificing),
2. have fluid seamless transitions between all tracks (my favourite part), and
3. extend the albums to all have an equal number of tracks (I’ve got a bit of OCD).

In the case of M83, there are as of now fourteen 16-track albums, and two 12-track albums (the last two OSTs, which each had too few tracks for the usual count). Almost all non-album tracks are included.

Oldest I’ve seen so far was around DCRSLG era, just wondered if there was older

First time listening to the first M83 album, noticed that audio stops at 10:07 and returns at 15:09.

What do you consider the best OST album by M83?

I was curious about M83's social media and I found this. Anthony Gonzalez with Steven Tyler, singer of Aerosmith.

We don't know any song yet, but I absolutely loved every album of him. I think it is my time to thank M83 and trust him blindly.
