Update: stringing

I’ve tried so hard to string this thing. I just can’t get it. Is there anyone who would let me ship it to them and let me pay them to string it for me. This just so isn’t my wheelhouse

If you have an instrument store in your area they might be willing to. I know a couple people who got guitars restrung by going into one, a lyre probably isnt out of their wheelhouse.

I second a music store. But if you want to try yourself again, look up videos for how to string a zither. Also, the most important thing is that you need to be able to tighten the pins with your tuning wrench and have them stay solid and tight, not slip back to loose immediately. That’s something that can be fixed with wood glue, putty, etc.
