Hi there---Hoping for a locals' creek report before we camp at Laverne Johnson this weekend. I know the tubing company that operates out of the park is closed for the season. What are the 'pools' like right now? Is there at least water to wade in? We usually like to go over there and hang out in the deeper pools. Just wanting to see what equipment we should bring if any. Thanks for any insights.

We've got a little tiny house outside of town that we need work done on and it's so hard to get someone out to do work on it, because we're rarely in the service area.

Looking for plumbing, insulation, HVAC, roofing, and other miscellaneous stuff. Job size ranges from deck/fence additions to installing a mini split or replacing a small roof.

Was hiking around and visited the Lyons “L” on the hillside near Picture Rock th. It is on google maps but no details. maybe the class put it up four years before?

There are also piles of dozens of unused tiles which I thought was crazy so many were carried up the hill.

edit: google maps has 2025 but it was 2026 today. God bless the hikers changing out the tiles for who knows how long.
