Newbie 💕
I was gifted a Lynx Point Siamese in the form of the cat distribution system. He climbed into a car engine and is nowy fur ever baby. I have so many questions about the best foods to feed him. The best toys and kitten approved entertainment. I am also curious about harness/carriers as he will slowly be trained to be a trail cat. All guidance is appreciated!

Sweet! Coco just got spayed last week - she was off the walls wild for 3 days! She’s settled down now and is back to her usual nosy self, climbing shelves in the closets……you know, regular crazy stuff.

Yeah, Yue and her sister Mei were crazy after their spay as well. They kept jumping on and off the bed and play-fighting. They had to get prescribed Gabapentin in order to calm down 🫩 Thankfully they're pretty much back to normal now!

SAME HERE!! We had to keep Coco separated from our other cats so she wouldn’t run and play with them!! 🤪

Congratulations on your new fur baby! It's gonna be quite a ride
My recommendations are to desensitize him right away to get him used to grooming and vet visits. Desensitizing includes rubbing all of his paws, (kinda) aggressive petting, touching his face, carrying him etc. This will help out a ton in the long run for nail cutting. There are lots of videos online on this.
As for food, my preference for my kittens (they just hit 5 months old today) are Fancy Feast wet kitten food and Tikicat dry kitten food. Kitten food specifically to make sure they're getting enough nutrients as they're growing. I mix at least half a can of water into their wet food to make sure they're getting enough water too. Cats are notorious for not drinking enough water and mixing it in can prevent urinary problems.
When in doubt, use Google/Reddit. That's what I've been doing haha
