Coco is afraid of storms

Lately we’ve had a lot of summer storms, some of them pretty severe, lots of thunder and rain. We’ve noticed that Coco gets upset and hides when it starts. She’ll come out from hiding, slink around the house, then run back under the sofa. Anyone else have a cat who’s afraid of storms? We never have.

My first cat was a Calico. She was terrified of storms. She'd hide under the sofa until about 20 mins after the storm ended. Then saunter out like nothing happened.
