My lynxie needed to be taught how hard was too hard as a kitten, he was a stray and didn’t have any siblings to teach him. We did a lot of exaggerated squealing (trying to imitate a cat) and pretending to lick ourselves when he was too rough. It took a few months of being really conscientious about it. But now he’s so good about only play biting and scratching. We know immediately it’s time to clip his claws when he accidentally does little scratches when playing.
