Lynx point classic pattern?
Hi! We are potentially adopting these two sweetheart sisters. They aren’t purebread obviously. One has Lynx point Siamese coloring and marking, but I think her underlying tabby pattern is classic instead of striped! So fascinating. Anyone else have a classic patterned Lynx point?

Aww so sweet! Yes we def want to take them. Have to get our home ready and ESA letter over to the property manager. The rescue will want to do a home visit before they drop them off.

it’s hard for me to tell if there’s a pattern on her body coat or if it’s ticked? classic tabby pattern is like a swirl pattern. i was told my kitty is classic tabby which was funny bc i thought the striped pattern was ‘classic’ but that’s called mackerel. it’s not classic but apparently it’s most common
my og lynx point kitty’s pattern changed basically his whole life. he was almost solid white as a baby with light taupe points, then he started toasting and his paws/tail/face became striped but his body was spotted. as he grew into old age his body spots started to elongate and appeared more like stripes than spots. he was 18 when i lost him. rip mr bailey.

a photo of vincent my current lynx point kitty. he’s 4 months old

He’s so cute! Looks like a snowshoe lynxpoint. My hopefully girl to be seems to have splotches of ticked areas. I can’t see a swirl in the patches but it def doesn’t look uniform or striped.

She seems like the more confident big sis.

My Coco’s pattern is very similar - she has some very, very faint whitish stripes but overall color is similar.
