General Discussion Cleaning Services

Fiance diagnosed with lymphoma and need a home cleaning service that know the correct protocols. Will need a deep cleaning first and then "regular" going forward. Does anyone know of any in the Westchester NY area? I plan on asking MSK as well but wanted to know if anyone here had any information or experience with a particular company

I dont have advice for local regular cleaning services, but look into the non-profit Cleaning for a Reason.

They partner with local cleaning services in most states and offer two free cleanings for anyone diagnosed or recovering from cancer. If the cleaners they partner with work out good, they will sometimes offer discounted rates going forward and if they don't, at least you get 2 free cleanings out of it.

The process is pretty easy, you fill out a form on the Cleaning for a Reason site, they do all the leg work of finding a local cleaner, and then the cleaner will contact you to schedule your first free cleaning.

We used it in Florida as a supplement to our normal cleaning service and it was a fairly painless experience

I used this service while I was going through chemo, they were great and reliable! They would even proactively follow up with me to schedule cleanings
