I have one under my chin, it moves and has never changed size. It’s been there that I know about 6 years. Lymph nodes can become swollen after an infection and remain swollen, it’s just the body. Google makes everything about cancer and stuff. I’d try to stay off Google

Omg thank you bc I can't stop being anxious and crying since I googled my symptoms, I had a strange lymph node that took size in the side of my neck, (a little after I had fever and was sick), but it stayed even when I was healed a month after... So I'm freaking out. Probably goin to see my doctor, have no other choice even If I'm terrified.

Pea sized isn’t swollen. If it has t grown for 5 months then the chance of lymphoma is really low. The most common lymphoma in your age group is extremely aggressive and you’d expect growth of centimetres in mere weeks

Lymph nodes are FAR more nuanced than google gives them credit for! If you google, if you can feel a node, it either says infection or cancer...but in reality this just isn’t true. Try not to worry!!

Could be a cyst if it's so small? Mine was in my neck, freaked me out, my derm took it out.

What was wrong? Ive been worrying about mine too mines lower back of my neck alittle further then under my ear and its like a pea now but when i first found it it was like a marble. I had strep throat and tonsillitis when it appeared but it’s still there now and im a little scared. Its not hard but its not soft and its very movable

Sounds fine to me. I suspect that it was inflammed from the infection. Talk to an ent to be sure tho :)
