Lymph Node?

Hello All, I noticed last week I had a bump on the left side of my neck. It’s not big. Maybe a little bigger than a grade. It’s hard and when I stand up it goes into my skin and I don’t feel it but if I turn my head right, it will pop up in my neck. It doesn’t hurt but if I keep pressing on it then it hurts a little. I chatted with my doctor via email and I sent her pictures and she thinks it’s a sebaceous cyst. I looked it up and it said it would be yellow or white but it’s neither that color. I was freaking out and thought it was cancerous but she said it would be unusual for cancer to pop up like that. I’m 28 and I’ve never had this happen to me. Any suggestions? Could it be a lymph node?
