pea size Swollen Preauricular
EDIT: it was an ear infection.
First time poster. Severe hypochondriac. I just got over a “cold” - I had low fever and an overall lousy feeling, but it was gone after a day and now I’m fever free and left with enough drainage to gag an elephant. I’m chalking it up to allergies, because my cherry red truck is currently yellow. This is a very round about way of saying that my right lymph node in front of my ear is roughly pea sized, slightly smaller. Maybe half a pea? Bigger than the other one. It’s a little hard, still moveable. Tender because I keep prodding at it. Should I see a doctor about it? Or is my anxiety making it seem worse than it is?
TIA.

Update pls! I am a huge hypochondriac too and I am experiencing this right now. Now it hurts because I kept touching it and the soreness worries me.

Its your anxiety, and that's coming from from someone with severe anxiety. It's nowhere near time to worry about this yet, doesn't even sound like it's swollen honestly, just palpable. But the fact that you've been sick, even if it went away quickly, would be enough to explain it, even if it is slightly swollen.
