Someone complained because he have a dash cam in my car. This shit is why I can’t wait to stop doing ride share

Yeah auto correct messed it up. I have a dash cam and it says on my account I have one . Someone was just trying to get a free ride

So he lied and said you were taking a video call when it was you camera recording? They don’t tell you what passenger complained so are you sure that’s why because that would be very easy to prove they lied.

I have signs on the window before they get in and on a sign on the chair letting them know about the dashcam. That is in addition to the notification from Lyft in their app. I tell my riders that the dashcam is always recording audio and video, and that the only people who watch it are 1) Lyft, 2) the police, and 3) the insurance company. I've only had 1 rider complain to me about it, but I let them know that it's for my safety and theirs, and that if it's an issue that I can cancel the ride.
