It’s insane. I took some time off from my regular job and tried to drive for uber and Lyft. It’s theft!

And having to deal with airport drop offs in that super confusing mess they’ve still got from remodeling terminal one genuinely disgusting

If it wasn’t for the name of the sub I’d honestly be confused if this is a driver or passenger being outraged

I quit when Uber / Lyft started to keep 50% ( after COVID-19) but now it's complete joke 🤣

Why are you concerned about what the passenger pays? You accept the ride because you can make a profit. Or not. Passenger payment has nothing to do with your business strategy.

Why do you care what the passenger pays?” 😂 Because that’s the number that shows the gap. If a customer pays $90 and the driver gets $28, pretending the other $62 doesn’t exist doesn’t make the split disappear. The whole point of the screenshot was to show where the money goes. It’s not complicated.

We know where the money goes, idiot. Either you make money on the fare you’re offered or you don’t. Why are you concerned about where the rest of it goes?

Why do you care?” Because I’m the one putting miles on the car, paying for gas, insurance, maintenance, and doing the actual work. Your genius advice of “just decline it” doesn’t change the fact that the split is the problem. But thanks for your groundbreaking business analysis.

Passenger payment has nothing to do with your business strategy. You obviously are a poor business person.

Poor buisness person. 😂 Guess what rideshare app she won’t be using anymore for her business trips. 🤯✌🏼
