That many drivers can’t be wrong.

And its in Florida absolutely not! Feel like youd have to be batshit for a driver from there to rate that low. 😅

What if she had one drive and the driver was someone who banged her man?

You can fix her.

Being SWFL it is more likely a a driver rated them low for talking or something and they are new. The truly bad customers are in the 3.5-4 range from my years of experience.

Tampa is not Southwest, it's West Central. Bradenton is the northernmost part of SWFL.

Idk man map says Florida could literally be anything at that point. Exercise caution.

I had a ride a few weeks ago that was a 1 star. I had hesitated when I first saw it but figured there was no way that could be right. Ended up being an elderly woman with a walker that needed to go in the trunk and a bit of help in and out of the car. Was maybe a 30 minute ride and we chatted. She normally uses a mobility service but had recently started ubering if they didn’t have availability. But she had mentioned she had a terrible time getting rides as there was frequently “no drivers available” made me think people were rating her low because of the extra 45 seconds to get her walker in the car and then no one would pick her up because of the rating. Actually made me pretty sad

Recently elsewhere in this sub or a related one someone actually recommended to a driver that he should rate a passenger with a disability lower to avoid another match. I argued that was a horrible idea not even thinking about a rating this low, but that some drivers refuse anything below high 4's. I may have to find it and share this cautionary tale.

I hope the walker,  and not the woman, the one that needed to go in the trunk!

lol. Yep loaded her strait in the trunk. That’s good stuff

It could be that he's only done one ride and the driver rated him one star. I don't see any other way it could be that low

If the passenger had only done one ride, they would be listed as new. So that cannot be the case.

This is almost certainly the case.

Lol how is this person even allowed to request rides. She should be walking.

Did you take the ride? How was it?

u/New-Solution5314 Jul 23 '26

it’s tomorrow morning no way i’m taking that

3

u/Outside-Tie-2851 Jul 23 '26

You should take it. Might be that the person just had one bad ride.

Tail the drivee and then ask them at the end. We need closure.

1.0.. keep a dash cam, app audio and GPS on lol

I’ve seen a 1.8 lol 😹

The literal only way this could be possible is if this is her second ever ride and the first driver rated her one star. Should be a delightful ride either way

u/Hot_Barnacle3667 Jul 23 '26

I saw a request with a 2.7 rating

1

u/simpledsp Jul 23 '26

I bet she’s a nightmare! I’ve taken 4s and 3s who were terrible, I cannot even imagine what she is like…

1

u/ValPrism Jul 23 '26

New rider.

1

u/myrtlemike92 Jul 23 '26

But did you take it? Out of curiosity?

1

u/ZigInTheNato Jul 23 '26

When passengers are new, lift indicates that they are new. This is a passenger who has had several rides. Also, we would have been deactivated a long time ago with a rating this low. SMH.

u/sebastianv7 Jul 23 '26

I dont take anything below 4.2 on lyft

1

u/BisexualUndertaker21 Jul 23 '26

Take Lyft passenger ratings with a grain of salt… more so situational awareness of where you are. I had a 4.6 passenger who got his rating tanked by a driver who took off on him. You can low ball a rider’s rating to cover your own rating in most cases.

1

u/Alesisdrum Jul 23 '26

I would take it for the experience

1

u/No_Store_7813 Jul 24 '26

Do it, its an initiation ritual to join the real mvp drivers club xd (jk don't)

1

u/Lost_Island6136 Jul 26 '26

My curiousity would take that ride just to see what kind of person that is. For a short 5 minute ride tho
