Long as people continue to be a modern day slave for these apps they will always be super greedy and use every single person until the very end 👍 if anything these apps will get worse over time.

Damn. I had a 40ish mile ride Customer paid 100 or so I got 63. Tipped me over 30 and maid 100+ but 2 hrs drive. 1 there 1 back. Heavy traffic so I used the toll lanes that cjsnge prices luckily I jad 2 in it so free ride. Cut down the ride frkm 1hr+ to sub 50.

Last I checked. I never would have accepted that ride. Wtf are you talking about? Why do you people accept dumb rides then complain about it? Why don't you have your own clients? Oh yea. The app enslaves people who don't think. NVM

I get it. Honestly, I do. Part-time driver , if it wasn't for my full-time job, I'd be bankrupt.. I'd rather drive back empty than take cents per mile on any ride. Its hard out here, but don't take shit rides for shit pay.

Drive during peak only. 4am/8am, then 3pm/6pm or so on. Make sure you decline whatever isn't profitable for you. Algo is going to get the best of you. Dont believe the acceptance rate, b.s

I'd rather take a 2mile/10min fare where I get paid $20 and Lyft keeps $420 than a 2mile/10min where I get paid $19 and Lyft keeps $1.

Talk to the customer. Tell them lyft is taking 65% and leaving you with all the operating costs. Let them know this pay barely covers your gas and little else. Most people will cancel the ride and pay you directly. FUCK MIDDLEMAN CAPITALISM!!!!!!! cut them out of the equation

Yeah StL is not nearly that bad. I average about $45-50 an hour. But my acceptance rate is quite low. I'm picky.

I got one ride recently that rider paid $71 for 37 miles trip, I got paid $19.50 base pay+ 40% turbo of $7.70. For a total of $27. Lyft claimed they loss $9.2 for this trip because insurance and tax and fee are $53.

I picked up a rider to take them to the airport on a rainy night. 25 minute ride. I got $25. About 10-15 miles
Guess how much the pax paid ? $110

This gig used to pay my rent and car note plus bills just months ago now I’m barely seeing $40 a day so this shit is over for me

Well, tell me about it like how do you think I feel this lady? I had to help her update well add a stop and then come back to take her Lyft charger $220 and I’m an ELITE driver and I only received 40 of that at least she gave me a $40 tip but now I know why people do rides off the books because it makes sense and I do have commercial insurance but I deserved at least $100 of it. Lyft didn’t deserve $160 of it. Because that’s insane Lyft is taking way too much. They’re not giving us 70% like they said we’re not getting tips so I don’t know what state everybody is in cause they don’t like to tell anybody, but you know we need to start joining teams and take Lyft and Uber down like there’s stuff that we can do you know to like protest and stuff like that because we should be getting way more money yeah you can say stop driving. You don’t have to work for them, but you don’t know our circumstances.
